DARLET Company Limited
is a private liability company incorporated under the Companies’ Act of 2002 on
the United Republic of Tanzania in 2009. DARLET is owned by a group of
experienced multifaceted ICT Professionals and Business Experts developed
through consistent learning and operational excellence, determined to provide
integrated ICT and Business solutions to individual entrepreneurs, business
organizations, healthcare centers, educational institutions, government,
manufacturing industries, transportation and telecoms.
The company is working to help clients realize their
business potential through application of technology by exploiting
opportunities that are presented by today’s technology. The company works to
affect clients’ daily practices through providing them with required expertise with
different ICT tools.
Darlet has been providing its services to a long
list of clients in the public and private sectors covering various sectors
including; banking, embassies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), health
and telecommunications.

AND SERVICES
Darlet
Co. Ltd. is an ICT service and solution provider company with the main focus to
create, develop and deliver innovative Information Technology solutions to meet
customer requirements. The company services include:
1.1 Electronic graphic design and high-end printing
Darlet Co. Ltd has
talent and expertise in electronic design and printing. It designs graphics for
commercials (advertisements) on publications such as
reports, newspapers, magazines, brochures, posters, banners, fliers, profiles
and billboards. Also, with use
of Computer Aided Design/Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), the Company
efficiently models jewelry designs for domestic and export markets.
1.2 Corporate Training and Consultancy
The company also offers two other products, training
and consultancy.
1.2.1 Corporate Training
Corporate
training is of two kinds namely; awareness training and specific training:
a) Awareness Training
Darlet
has tapped mainly into banking payment systems and financial institutions to
cater world class technology awareness and information security training. This
is the type of training that the company provides to bring clients’ awareness on
the newly available technologies, software and solutions in the market that can
affect clients’ performance. The company also supply solutions and consultancy
in areas it trains its clients when need arise.
b) Specific
Training
Specific
training is provided to meet specific client needs, like needs that arise when
companies buy new hardware or software, or when employees join a company. In
both cases a company will need to train its employees on how to use a new
hardware or software, or how to acquaint with new company rules and
regulations. DARLET Co. Ltd offers its expertise to train client staff on their
specific needs in office, like computer best practice, office automation
packages, graphics and multimedia, accounting applications, customer
relationship management (CRM) software, project plan and management and
capacity building.
1.2.2 Consultancy
The company
provides consulting services to clients that do not have IT departments or
experts. It identifies client IT needs, analyses them and proposes solutions.
It also provides professional guidance for procurement of clients IT hardware
and software, and recommends suitable vendors. At times it undertakes the
procurement function where the client so contracts it to.
1.3 Business and Technology solutions
The company also
provides Business data management for clients who face problems in data
management, storage, and processing. It also works in collaboration with
partners from within and outside the country on researches for innovative and
cost effective business solutions.
1.4 Office supply and after-sale-services
The company has
also identified an opportunity in the “after-sale-service” business of
suppliers of technology hardware. Some suppliers have such big portfolios that
they fail to keep pace with their customers’ demands for “after-sale-service”.
Many of such customers have begun to contract other service providers, and this
is great business opportunity for DARLET who doesn’t have its own stock but the
capacity to handle after-sale-service.
